How this website works

The website does not set first-party analytics or advertising cookies. Language is selected through links; no language preference is stored in your browser. Local storage is not used to remember video authorisation.

YouTube: optional external content

Videos and external thumbnails are initially blocked. Each video provides an explanation and two equally presented choices: “Accept and load video” and “Do not accept”. Declining does not restrict access to the rest of the website.

If you accept, your browser connects to Google/YouTube through youtube-nocookie.com and sends information such as your IP address, browser and referring website. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no personal data is processed. When you use the player, the provider may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, security and preferences, according to its settings and policies.

Changing your choice

Use “Disable videos” in the footer to remove loaded players. Authorisation only applies to the selected video on the current page and ends when you reload or leave it. You must accept again to load a video afterwards.

Disabling a player stops it from continuing to load through this page, but does not remove cookies or data Google may already have stored. You can clear them through your browser’s privacy settings and manage Google preferences through its service.

Links to other websites

“Watch on YouTube” links open the external service, where its own terms apply. The same applies to other external links. You can browse this entire website without enabling any videos.
